Meet Darcy. She uses the digital world to make her world a little easier, and she wants to share her success with you. Let’s take a look at a few ways she uses technology and digital banking in a typical day.
6:00 am – Wakes up, make coffee, realizes she’s almost out of coffee.
6:05 am – Sets a reminder on her phone to pick up more coffee during her lunch break today.
7:30 am – Morning commute, wonders if she made her car payment.
7:50 am – Arrives at work. Opens mobile banking app, logs in quickly using her fingerprint, and checks on that car payment. Yep, she scheduled it and it’s already been sent.
12 pm – Uses the restaurant’s app to order lunch to pick up. Heads to the shop to pick up the coffee.
12:10 pm – During the drive, wishes she had time to get to the bank with that check from grandma. Then, she remembers mobile check deposit. When she’s parked, opens her mobile banking app and takes a pic of the front and back of her check. No trip to the bank needed!
12:15 pm – Picks up the coffee and heads to the register. She already has a mobile wallet set up on her phone, so she can pay with her debit card without ever having to get the actual card out.
12:30 pm – Lunch is ready to pick up, thanks to mobile ordering. Pays with her mobile wallet again.
5:00 pm – Commute home, with her mind on making dinner using that new recipe she found on Pinterest.
7:30 pm – Reflects on the money she saved making dinner. Decides to put that weekly savings into her savings account. Goes into Online Banking and sets up a weekly automatic transfer of $20 from checking to savings. That’s $1,040 saved a year. Nice job, Darcy!
8:00 pm – Time to order a gift online. Checks her balance in The Bank of Missouri app and is ready to shop, while staying on budget.
